Seeking Engineering Team Member who is self-motivated and possesses excellent communication and people skills.
An engineering technician key responsibility includes, but is not limited to the following:
Working in CAD (Computer Aided Design) to update, modify, and create architecture drawings in order to prepare them for production.
Completing Bill of Materials and processing of ECN's (Engineering Change Notices).
Creating and modifying 3D models of production parts and assembling them into larger assemblies.
Creating and exporting BOM and part number information from drawings and Inventor models into the company's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and material lists.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
An Engineering Technician will possess the following requirements:
An Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience with 3D Solid Modeling and 2D drawing is essential.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, (and/or similar 3D Solid Modeling software package) is mandatory.
Knowledge of architectural blueprint reading, strong math skills and Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel & Access) is required.
Pay structure will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
