The process involves spin and ultrasonic polishing, stoning, lapping and buffing through the use of stones, lapping paper, buffing compounds and diamond paste.

Ability to manage the high precision process requirements.
Possess comprehensive skills to read engineering drawings.
Understand surface finish symbols, definitions and conversions.
Proficiency in various polishing techniques and procedures.
Competent in the set up and use of precision measuring instruments.
Competent to verify dimensional accuracy of work performed.
Maintain acceptable performance standards.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Skills Required:
Polishing experience in the industry is strongly preferred.
Comfortable with repetitive tasks Attention to detail.
Time Management skills Neat and Organized Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Ability to adapt to change.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective.
Ability to use standard calibrated measuring equipment including calipers, optic, micrometers, pin gauges, pressure gauges, etc.
