Engineer - Field Service - Automated CNC Machines - Jamestown, NY
One of the largest automated CNC machine tool distributors in North America seeks a talented Engineer for regional field service on CNC machine tools.
Requirements:
Five (5) years experience with a machine tool builder, distributor, or similar.
Ability to travel within commuting distance daily to service automated CNC machines for clients.
High level understanding of electrical schematics and diagrams.
Familiarity with multi-axis CNC machine tools such as boring mills and lathes.
Expert level experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
Duties:
Troubleshoot, identify, and repair issues with automated CNC machines.
Provide alternative solutions and improvise technically acceptable repairs when needed.
Be on call and ready to drive to clients for urgent repair services during non-office hours.
Compensation up to $80,000 with OT and bonus potential, 401(k) plus match, full medical, dental and vision insurance plans for individuals or families as well as disability and life insurances. Plenty of opportunity to advance, enjoy a work environment that is largely unsupervised.
