Syringe Exchange Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator oversees Evergreen Health Services Jamestown Syringe Exchange Program (SEP) office that includes: daily operation, Peer Delivered Syringe Exchange, Opioid Overdose Prevention and harm reduction programs to ensure the completion of projected services and fulfillment of performance outcomes. The Program Coordinator conducts administrative and direct service functions to support the day-to-day operations of the program and supervises the Syringe Exchange Navigator, Peer Exchange Workers, interns and volunteers. Applicant must have A) Bachelors' degree and two years' experience providing services directly to clients or B) managing prevention/health programs or C) a combination of both. Must be a team player and have leadership ability, be sensitive to cultural and socio-economic diversity and issues related to HIV/AIDS, and comfortable working with individuals from all walks of life. Must have valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience and willing to work alternate weekends.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
