Operations Manager
Direct Hire Operations Manager opening within innovative, supportive and energized organization in Western NY.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for all daily safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics within the Production areas of the plant.
o Operate within approved budget boundaries and achieve operating performance targets, using company business systems tools to drive continuous process improvements in quality, on-time delivery, cost savings and inventory reduction.
o Accountable for meeting needs of a growing business by managing production levels and driving delivery and productivity.
o Develop associates in a manner which meets the future needs of the business and annually preparing an HR plan to identify key contributors and areas of organizational and individual development.
o Conduct and deliver annual performance appraisals for hourly associates. Generate development plans to drive associate growth.
o Engage with associates to maintain positive associate relations, partnering with HR and utilizing tools such as associate survey.
o Lead the production start-up phase for new product introduction utilizing manufacturing engineering resources. Also, responsible for driving lower product costs by reducing set up times, improving processes and reducing cycle times.
o Maintain a clean and safe work environment that is incompliance with all OSHA(US), and EPA (US) any related country specific environmental regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
o Bachelors Degree (BS Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) is required
o Strong computer skills
o Supervisor skills
o Minimum of 5 years Manufacturing Management Experience
o Purchasing / Negotiation Skill
o Organization/Planning skill
o Business Competencies to include critical thinking skills - decision-making ability, long-term vision and ability to inspire a common vision; the ability to work independently and drive change while maintaining operational effectiveness; Skilled in employee supervision, planning, coordination, budget preparation, contract negotiations, and labor relations; Understanding of key financial indicators and success factors; Strong analytical skills and problem solving; the ability to become entrenched and experienced in the Company lines of business.

o Must pass a physical and drug test.

o Hiring salary range will be flexible based on experience and education. Position also offers competitive benefits package.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
